We are a family owned and run business, we strive to be innovative in our designs,  creating  pieces that are handcrafted and functional for our clients.  We are very passionate about what we do and take pride in our craftsmanship. We view each piece we create as a piece of art.

Who We Are

​After many years of working in community development and the child welfare system, I began searching for more of a creative outlet.  I have always had a love of design and  a knack for seeing beauty in the unexpected.    After completing an Interior Decorator program, I began working in a home furnishing and décor boutique in Ottawa.  I was incredibly inspired, being surrounded by beautiful furniture and décor.   Not long after I  was introduced to chalk paint  and quickly  fell in love with refinishing, painting, designing and building furniture.

​What is Upcycling?

Upcycling is finding creative ways to use discarded, outdated or old materials and transform them into beautiful, functional pieces.  Buying older pieces of furniture is owning a little bit of history, not to mention the quality is far more superior to the quality of furniture today.
